Short Description: Provide product architecture design support and implementation
for an Enterprise Backup and Data Management solution. Lead effort to develop a detailed technical design for Enterprise Backup implementation. The elements of the design will include:
Infrastructure required to implement, Master Server and Media Server(s), Clients, Agents & Options, Media Manager Configuration, Storage Configuration, Volume Pools, SAN Access, Network & Firewall Access, Storage Unit Definitions, Schedules, Policy Definitions, Capacity Verification, EMM,
Catalog Backups and Security. Develop methods and strategy to minimize impact on customer and transition to operational teams. Complete technical projects related to help meet strategic business goals, client requirements and service levels.

Full Description: Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position. Distributed Computing server or desktop experience and tech/team or project management experience desired. Experience in five or more of the following: Windows Server NT/2000/2003, UNIX (Solaris), Linux, VMWare, Active Directory, DNS/WINS/NIS, WTS/Citrix, IIS, and specific experience with VERITAS NetBackup 4/5/6 and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS), VERITAS Netbackup, VERITAS Volume Manager, VERITAS Volume Replicator, VERITAS Enterprise Vault, Position open immediately for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual, able to work effectively under pressure with vendors, clients and other teams. Good communication both oral and written. Ability to work extended hours, 24x7 (as required), shift work and additional hours in support of QRC and Surge requirements.
